@kobllha : can you provide more information please ?

Do you get any error message ?
What does that message say ? (post a screenshot as an attachment if possible)

Our download page does indeed mention that macOS minimum version is 10.9 - perhaps this needs updating ?

The error message is in Czech - EN translation: „This version of LibreOffice.app cannot be used with current OS X version. You have OS X 10.9.5. Application require at least OS X 10.10.“

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.2

indeed, it was already mentioned here with 6.2 release that the future version would require 10.10 as minimum.

Download pages have not been updated to reflect that...

Thanks for reporting this, but it won't be fixed, other than by updating the download page information.
Comment 6 kobliha 2019-08-09 12:52:18 UTC
That kind of "fix" I expected. What rocket science is used in this update that justifies that you can throw away existing users?

As with any FOSS project, resources are limited. Hardware for building macOS builds is also limited, and I'm guessing that the current build machine for LO releases has moved to XCode 10.10.

Official Apple support for OSX 10.9 ended September 2016, this was also probably one of the reasons for the change.
