Description Nicolas Christener 2019-08-16 07:58:00 UTC
Description:
In calc on iOS there two handles:
a.) one to grow/shrink the cell selection
b.) one to magically fill adjacent cells based on the content of the selection

When dragging the "b." handle "upwards" over an existing selection will delete the content of the whole selection - this should not happen.

Let's say we have six cells each containing a number from 1 to 6 and the whole cell range is selected.

Moving this handle "upwards" from 6 to 4 should not delete all cells. I think a user would expect, that the cell "6" and "5" are deleted (or nothing at all happens).

I'll attach a video to this bug report.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a calc sheet with the iOS app
2. Fill cell A1 with "1", B1 with "2" and C1 with "3", select the cells and grow the selection to F1
3. Move the handle back to e.g. D1

Actual Results:
All cells will be cleared

Expected Results:
Only cell E1 and F1 should be cleared (or nothing is cleared at all).

Reproducible: Always

Let's close this one. Its probably an intended behaviour:
* grow selection -> add items
* shrink selection -> remove itenms
