Description: I filed this before, but I can't find it anywhere anymore. Since LibreOffice 6.2, the tab "Extra" in the notebook bar lay-out is called "Exta". This is a minor cosmetic issue (nothing critical) and is shown in the Dutch GUI of LibreOffice. In an earlier report it was concidered "solved" in LibreOffice 6.3., but it seems it's still there. This is seen on all platforms, in my case Linux and Windows. I don't know if this is also shown in other languages than Dutch. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start LibreOffice Calc 2. Select the tabbed notebook bar in "View" > "User Interface" 3. See the tab "Extra" (when LibreOffice is in Dutch) Actual Results: Misspelled name of the tab. It says "Exta" instead of "Extra". Expected Results: Show "Extra" in the tab "Extra" Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info:
Hi Margeaux, I dont reproduce with LO 6.2.0.3 Build ID: 98c6a8a1c6c7b144ce3cc729e34964b47ce25d62 CPU-threads: 2; Besturingssysteem: Windows 6.1; UI-render: standaard; VCL: win; Locale: nl-NL (fr_FR); UI-taal: nl-NL Calc: CL
Created attachment 153620 [details] Misspelled tab in LibreOffice Calc (Dutch, tabbed lay-out) I added an image which shows that the tab "Extra" is misspelled "Exta" in the Dutch version of LibreOffice. This was present since LibreOffice 6.2.
On which env are you? For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and give a new try? If you still reproduce this, could you provide detailed step by step process? Indeed, on master sources updated today, I don't reproduce this.

I'm on Linux (several distro's) and sometimes on Windows (7 and 10), but it's shows on every environment/platform. I renamed the user profile (on both Linux and Windows), but no effect whatsoever. The tab "Extra" is still named "Exta", even with a fresh profile. I don't know if this misspelling is also the case with other locales other than the Dutch language, but LibreOffice in the Dutch locale shows "Exta". This is the case in LO 6.2.* and 6.3.0.0. I filed this misspelling before (don't know why I can't find it anywhere anymore), and there was also said that this misspelling was removed from the master sources. But unfortunately this misspelled word is still present in LO 6.3. Because you can't find it in the master sources, could it be possible that the misspelling is not in LibreOffice itself, but in the files that translates the GUI to the Dutch language?
Created attachment 153694 [details] The misspelled tab "Extra" is also shown in Windows (both 7 and 10) The misspelled tab "Extra" is also shown in Windows 7 and 10 (and probably also in 8 and 8.1). A fresh user profile doesn't do the trick, and the word "Exta" remains.
I finally reproduced this with nl localization
Cor: thought you might be interested in this one since it concerns Dutch localization. I fixed the following elements on Pootle 6.3UI: https://translations.documentfoundation.org/nl/libo_ui/translate/sc/messages.po#unit=159151022 6.2UI: https://translations.documentfoundation.org/nl/libo62_ui/translate/sc/messages.po#unit=162026766 It should be ok in a next release.
The same mistranslation is reintroduced in LibreOffice 6.4.0.: In Calc the tab "Extra" is once again called "Exta" (without the "r"). Why keep old and resolved issues be reintroduced in newer versions? Something is not going right here. Throw the old files away permanently and continue with the new, fixed files where the issue is solved. This keeps coming back in every new point release since 6.2. I won't report it the next time. It gets on my nerves, like it's useless to report issues.
Indeed, it seems the fix has been lost. So fixed again, see: master branch: https://weblate.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/scmessages/nl/?checksum=d7f7ae3937ebd230 6.4 branch: https://weblate.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-6-4/scmessages/nl/?checksum=d7f7ae3937ebd230 6.3 branch: https://weblate.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-6-3/scmessages/nl/?checksum=d7f7ae3937ebd230 However, these must be integrate in the next releases. Will it be in 6.3.5 or 6.3.6? Will it be in 6.4.0 or 6.4.1? No idea... I'm only sure it'll be in future 7.0 Christian: any idea why the fix had been lost? + if you have an idea in which releases this last fix will be integrated?
