Hi Cor, I can't repro with, pasting the url creates an hyperlink.

Version: 6.3.1.2 (x64)
Build ID: b79626edf0065ac373bd1df5c28bd630b4424273
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win;
Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL

Maybe testing Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode.

Maybe it is a different behavior with Windows?
It only creates a hyperlink for me if I do something in edit mode of the cell. In all versions that I tried.

So the input isn't interpreted for hyperlinks, unless editing is done..
Ah wait.. we talk about the autocorrect function. That is triggered by enter or a space. It is not the same as pasting content on a cell. Because, when I paste "7-9" on a cell that is selected, it is changed automatically to the date "07-09-19".
So that makes it understandable why it behaves different.
