Description Klaus1189 2019-09-08 07:50:29 UTC
6.2.6 and 6.2.7 are fine, only 6.3.0 and 6.3.1 are affected, so think it is a 6.3.x issue.

The icons are too small, for example in the lower right corner the icons of the paper layout, how it should be shown are way too small. And also the icons on top like new document, ... if there is an arrow to specify like on new, open and save, the arrow is way too big to fit in the arrow-button part.
Deinstalling 6.3.x and installing 6.2.x solves the problem.

I cannot find an issue here, so I thought I report it here.

I am on Win10 x64 1903 and use a 43 inch 3840x2160 screen and scaling of 200%.

If you need any more info let me know.

Thank you

The ~102 dpi of 3840 x 2160px resolution on a 43" screen is not considered HiDPI.

Otherwise confirming that, on Windows builds at least, the icons in the Status bar and the icon on the Sidebar's Tab bar are not being scaled when system applied UI scale is increased to 200%. And that on a Windows build of 6.2.5.2 (what I had handy) the scaling of icons on the status bar and Sidebar's Tab bar are scaled as bitmaps.

Testing Windows 10 Home 64-bit en-US (1903) intel HD Graphics 630 with
15.3" monitor at FullHD 1920 x 1080px (so ~143 dpi) with and without OpenGL rendering

Issue not noted on Windows build of 6.2.5

Non-scale of icons present already in last alpha1+ build
Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha1+ (x64)

So predates the 6.3.0.0.beta1 release.

I uploaded some screenshots of the installers, do I need to open a new bug report for this?

the "g" is cut off and the icons and text of the installer options are too small.
