When running Libre Office on a device with Debian 10 Buster and Xfce 4.12 on a computer with a 1024 x 600 display the window does not go to full screen when I click / select maximize. Also the hight of the window can not made small enough manually so it fits te screen. Other applications work fine. Thanks for Libre Office.
Unfortunately, LibreOffice has https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/system-requirements/ For Linux: X Server with 1024x768 resolution (higher resolution recommended), with at least 256 colors But, may be there is some solution for your problem...
hm it seem that problem was fixed for bug 93085 and LO 6.2. Please upgrade your LO version to 6.2 and try it

Roman is right indeed, it seems a dup of tdf#93085 Don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you still reproduce this with LO version >= 6.2.0 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 93085 ***
Hmm, I am to used to 64 bit I think. The machine is 32 bit (updated that) and there is no Libre office 6.3.2 package for it. Aha, scrolling down a bit and there is 6.2.7 and it supports x86 :-) Then I tried to install it on Debian. All packages I think I need installed fine but when I start Libre Office still version 6.1.5.2 is launched. Searching for version 6.2.7.1 did not yield any result although I installed it. Am I missing something, wierd?
Linux LO packages on official websites are more for package maintainers. Please use Debian repo to upgrade LO. Also, have in mind that Debian stable is more for servers and so have robust but old versions. For a desktop, I'd rather use Debian testing. Of course, in a company, perhaps you won't have the choice. Now it's also possible to stick to stable but use testing packages, see https://serverfault.com/questions/22414/how-can-i-run-debian-stable-but-install-some-packages-from-testing. Of course, it will fetch LO packages from testing but also its dependencies I think.
I see. Normally I can live very good with stable, but yes testing is more up to date with a lot of packages. I will try using the testing version of LO in stable as you proposed with the link (for the experience). After that I might convert the whole machine to testing. Thanks Julien for pointing things out to me :-) Also thanks to the other respondents.
