Description oligard 2019-09-26 15:15:52 UTC
Description:
crashed while copying txt from one document to another. This is the second time this happened in a few months. reopened in safe mode, looked at documents, then opened in normal mode. When reopened documents libreoffice writer did not save my document settings. Also did not take me through document recovery. I just opened the document from my folders. All seems to be working fine now, although scrolling is a bit jerky, and when I add something to document, I get hourglass and have to move curser off document for it to go away and continue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.copy a page of text to another document in writer with a few documents open, also had spreadsheet open.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
libre office shuts down, asks for a bug report and if want to open in safe mode,

Expected Results:
finally got to open in normal mode

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
should have asked me to recover files and then recover them

Oligard, thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
