Description Mike McCallister 2019-10-02 16:23:27 UTC

=========================================

I had a document open while the Dell Support Assistant was installing new Intel UHD Graphics 600 and P600 series Legacy Driver (also Intel wifi and bluetooth drivers). The screen went dark momentarily and then returned, but the document had crashed. It was successfully recovered.

Additional system details: Dual Dell monitors; all active applications moved to the primary monitor. VMware Workstation Pro also active, one active VM (openSUSE Leap 15.1) also crashed.

Does the crash happen during normal usage, or only during driver installation? If the latter, users tend to be advised to close running programs while installers are running, so I wouldn't regard the crash out of ordinary.
Comment 2 Julien Nabet 2019-10-02 17:31:22 UTC
Agreed with Aron. So let's put this one to WFM.

Anyway, you may follow this link:

and if you reproduce this (without talking about another driver update during LO session), don't hesitate to reopen this tracker.
