Description: I have a calc document with lots of select boxes with data feed a sheet within the document. When I open it in newer LO versions it will consum 100% cpu and the selection is invisible. In version 6.2.7 (I have the flatpack version) and prior it worked perfectly. On my laptop (passive cooling) it will heatup the system to 94C and a emergency temperature shutdown occured. An my desktop system (ryzen7 8core) this document heats up the system too (+10 degrees) and uses 100% of one core. Also there is the selection bug as I saw on my laptop. How I can provideyou with my document? thx in advance Steps to Reproduce: open the document ... and wait a bit (I have to find out a way to add my file here) Actual Results: 100% cpu usage Expected Results: lower cpu usage Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: I tried several combinations of opengl/hw acceleration enabled/disabled. nothing changes in behaviour
Created attachment 155009 [details] file that create 100% cpu usage ... mentioned in m report
the listboxes on sheets "nachts", "frueh" etc. start flickering .. this issue is a duplicate of: Bug 121963 - button flashing - mouse wheel zooming breaks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 121963 ***
I followed the progess and saw that armin solved the issue. thx for that! I updated LO to: Version: 6.3.3.2.0+ Build-ID: 30(Build:2) CPU-Threads: 2; BS: Linux 5.3; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: kde5; Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI-Sprache: de-DE Calc: threaded (opensuse tumbleweed) and in that version it is partialy solved. cpu consumtion is down to 50%. Thing is the older version I mentioned needs less then 1%. I diddn't know if the patch is fully included there, if so,then for me my issue is not solved.
same bahaviour with LibreOfficeDev-6.4.0.0.alpha1_2019-11-01-x86_64.AppImage
