Description: I created a LibreOffice Writer document with about ~30 formulas, some of them by copy & paste. When I wanted to quit LibreOffice I noticed some of the formulas have changed their position, some formulas appeared twice in the document, some with ugly shaped fonts. Maybe this happend after I saved the file. It sometimes happend to me in prior LibreOffice versions, too. Actual Results: I have ~30 different formulas in my document. After some time and actions those are shuffled, have ugly shaped fonts, ... Expected Results: The formulas are where I put them and do not change their appearance. Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info:

Comment on attachment 155160 [details] The functions in the formulas have been the same like the numbering before, e. g. i) belongs to i(x), j) to j(x), ... If you double-click on the second formula, the ugly-shaped equations in d) it is completely changed to f_a(x)=...
I also can see ugly-shaped equitations. I also confir, if you double-click on the the ugly-shaped equations it loks fine. But I couldn't find out, what triggers the formlas to change layout. I could save and reopen without any problem. So if you're able to find out how to reproduce it, it would be very helpful.
A double-click does not only change the formulas appearance, it also changes the formula itself (-> screenshot / comparison at 2. attachment) I guess the f_a(x)= ... is the formula I copied from another document to change it. So somewhere in the document the old formula is saved as well?
Created attachment 155207 [details] Comparison before / after double-click on the formula
(In reply to schluppz from comment #4) > A double-click does not only change the formulas appearance, it also changes > the formula itself (-> screenshot / comparison at 2. attachment) Yes, you're right. Really strange. But I still think, we need some steps to reproduce. Any ideas? => NEEDINFO

It's me with another account, because I lost the mail adress as well as the password für the other account. So I didn't get the last messages / questions. Today it happend again with LibreOffice 7.0.1.2, so it is not fixed. I remember I did the following: I copied a formula, edited the copy and saved the file. After saving the file the copied formula was the same as the original again. Changing the formula for a second time and saving again then worked like expected - nothing changed for a second time. I am sorry but I don't know how to force this behaviour, it just happens from time to time and I am glad if notice it happens... By the way: I don't think it is the same as bug 99225 - at least I never noticed formulas vanishing.

I've tried to reproduce it (with the first formula of attachment from comment 1), but failed. So please try to reproduce it with the steps you've mentioned. Perhaps more detailed informations are needed: a specific formula, an information how to change it, ... Sorry, but again NEEDINFO
