This report pertains to the German localization of the UI. The English version does not have this issue. I do not know about other localization. Adding a comment to a cell from the context menu is done by "Kommentar einfügen" ("Add comment"). Editing the comment was very hard for me to achieve. In the context menu, there is "Bearbeiten" ("Edit"), "Löschen" ("Delete"), "Anzeigen" ("Show") but it was not at all clear to me these commands aimed at the comment. I was certain that they would affect to the cell instead. The only hint is that these commands are now at the same *position* as the original "Kommentar einfügen" ("Add comment"). Memorizing positions is a very new expectation in UI-design to me. (: I suggest changing the wording of the commands in the context menu to "Kommmentar bearbeiten", "Kommmentar löschen", "Kommmentar anzeigen", respectively.
On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this. Eike: are you ok with what the author suggests? If yes, I can try to change these on weblate for master and Pootle for 6.3.
Makes perfectly sense. Except that "Kommmentar" should be spelled with only two 'm' ;-) Kommentar.
Eike: thank you for your feedback! Done in 6.3 and master! Kuehl: I noticed you contributed in German translations, thought you might be interested in this one. Indeed, taking a look at the history of some translations it seems "Kommentar" had been removed, do you know why?
(In reply to Eike Rathke from comment #2) > Makes perfectly sense. Except that "Kommmentar" should be spelled with only > two 'm' ;-) Kommentar. Takes less space, too! (:
It was my mistake. If you go to menu "Tabelle - Kommentare" there is the addition "Kommentar" not required. But I have not recognized, that the context menu uses the same KeyID. I closed the bug.
My respect to everyone involved for your quick reaction and many thanks for your continuous work on LibreOffice!
