Description ffs 2019-11-10 21:39:56 UTC
Description:
I need to use LO to view a spreadsheet generated and modified externally.

There is no clean way for LO to detect the underlying file has changed or offer a "reopen" or "reread" service. This results in a clumsy: close, file:open:recent etc etc dance where a reread service would be nice.

Steps to Reproduce:
open a file, change the underlying file, LO doesn't offer a reopen/reread or detect the changes.

Actual Results:
open a file, change the underlying file, LO doesn't offer a reopen/reread or detect the changes.

Expected Results:
open a file, change the underlying file, LO doesn't offer a reopen/reread or detect the changes.

Reproducible: Always

I should add - ideally I'd like to just reread the data/cell contents and leave everything else untouched (position in the sheet, cells hidden, cell boundaries/sizes etc).

Don't be sorry - that is awesome news and I _cannot_ believe I never noticed, I think I simply expected it to be in the section above. I;ll book and appoint with the opticians...

Thanks!
