This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-aa395c75-385d-499c-97ec-b6712a08f947. ========================================= EDITING Open Impress presentation and open .doc or .docx file (using LibreOffice). COPY text from .doc file then switch to Impress (in order to paste text) LibreOffice crashes. Sent various anonymous crash reports 15 Nov 2019 when this started happening. Decided to file BUG when it occurred again today. Version: 6.2.5.2 Build ID: 1ec314fa52f458adc18c4f025c545a4e8b22c159 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
Could you give a try to a more recent LO version? Indeed, last one is 6.2.8 for 6.2 branch and 6.3.3 for 6.3 branch. You can find them on LO ppa. Also, you may upgrade Ubuntu, this one is 3 years old. If you really want a LTS, there's 18.04.
Thanks for responding, sorry for delay (family bereavement). I have finally managed to test with Mint 19.3 and LO 6.3.4 in a live environment and cannot reproduce the crash. I guess this BUG is closed... (now need to upgrade my working environment ...) Thank You
Thank you for your feedback, let's put this one to WFM then.
