Description Katrin 2019-11-19 04:05:42 UTC
Description:
I made lines in colour to markup text for correction. I made it by mark a paragraph and set an upper line above it by using the frame option in context menu under paragraph. Then I did it a few paragraphs below with the under-line, too. Now, after open the document again the next day, I have two lines more, I didn't made. They are at the beginning of the page unter the first line and at the end of the last page before the second line. It disturbed my concentration. Is there maybe a better way to mark up longer test by lines? Or could I deactivate the new lines somehow? (I use a german version. Sorry if I use the wrong translation on settings)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. write long text (A few pages long), mark up a part of it
2. select in context menu paragraph, select rider Border and select just the upper line.
3. do it a few paragraphs below and select just the down line.
4. Close the text and open it again, maybe fter a cold start of Libre office.

Actual Results:
there lines I don't want to have them

Expected Results:
there should be just the lines I made by myself

Reproducible: Didn't try

Katrin, thank you for reporting the bug. Some hints:

1. Please try to reproduce the issue. If you can't reproduce it, it will be hard to reproduce it for somebody else.

2. If you try to reproduce it wit a dummy text (lore ipsum), could you please attach document here, because in this case it is easier for someone else to reproduce it.

3. I don't know, if there is an easier way to mark up longer text with lines, but why don't you use comments?

I have set the status to NEEDINFO. Please change it back to UNCONFIRMED, if you're able to reproduce it and after you've given a sample document.

I downloaded a lore ipsum text. I took the original file, made a copy, delete all content (text, headlines, pictures and table of content), inserted the lorem ipsum text in there and formated it as the standert text in the original document. Only the header is still there, as you can see. I made lines like in the original (You can see my settings on Image "line settings.png" for the under line) on Page 1 and 3. I even start my computer again, but it seems, I can't reproduce the "error". It may something in the original document to cause this.
At first I thought it happens, because its line settings, and if it would be a whole box (with the left and right line, too), you may could expect, it would be extend or repeat on the next page. So Libre don't recognice, there are just upper and under line.
I have also an Imgae of the error in the original text for the under line (underline with second above.png) where you can see how it looks like in it.
I don't use commands, because there already so much commands there in the original text, they wouldn't be notice.
thanks for your interest
