Thank you for reporting the bug. Comparing this list to Word we see that this is actually the same - our local printer provides a very redundant list of supported paper sizes. I'm not sure the redundant items don't have some difference compared to each other (like A4 but with different paper tray or somesuch), so maybe we can mark this as NAB?
Created attachment 157974 [details] Full list My list has no obvious duplicates. In any case it would be desirable to have more structure in this list, eg. per separator lines and per sorting. And duplicates makes no sense, in particular when users cannot have any idea which one to pick (if it's some driver property such as the tray). Dear NISZ LibreOffice Team, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! "If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice." The bug is still present in 7.4.7.2. Version: 7.4.7.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 40(Build:2) CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.utf8); UI: en-US 7.4.7-2 Calc: threaded OS: Manjaro Linux Desktop: XFCE The Paper Size seems to come from cups ppd in: - File > Printer Settings > Properties - File > Print > General > Printer > Properties The Paper Size in File > Print > General > Page Layout is not sorted so it is tedious to find anything because the list is very long. Part of the length comes from paper sizes I will never use and the other part comes from duplication. The list of Paper size names in Page Layout is different than either of the two Printer Properties dropdown lists mentioned above. The Paper Size is currently showing "Letter 8.50in x 11.00in". If I expand the dropdown and scroll the list and view, 3.00 in x 5.00 for example, it appears twice, so does A4 8.25in x 11.69 in. Letter 8.50in x 11.00in appears 3 times. Some Paper sizes appear only once.
Created attachment 189722 [details] print paper size duplicates Reproduced in current daily master build. @Adofo: I don't think that tdf#160567 has anything to do with this bug has A0 and A4 styles in Impress change only the font size to better fit according to the page size.
