Please see if this is another problem solved with https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128845 and it's duplicates. You may test LO daily master 6.5+ from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/. It will not interfere with you working LO that is, 6.3.3.
Hi Timur, a) Bug 128845 (cannot modify document-internal bibliography entries) does not seem to have the same root cause. I do not try to modify database entries. I am just getting duplicate entries in the biblio-directory for each reference used in the document. b) 6.5-alpha is fine (no duplicates). Tested with build: Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build-ID: 5f40fa6f29a2a51a5f843f7a92d57721e1b8d540

clarification: * I do not access the bibliography database itself * I do not try to change bibliography database entries * I simply "use" the bibliography to add biblio-references in a writer document * if the same reference is used multiple times in the document, I am expecting the biblio-directory at the end of the document to list each biblio-entry only once
Thank you for a quick reply. I understand that you got 6.5+ master and that it's fine. So this can be closed. I still think it's a duplicate, like Bug 128328. The fix was backported to, 6.3.4. Hi Timur, please note, that 6.4.0 beta1 still has the bug. The backport to 6.3.4 does not seem to be integrated yet? There will be a shitstorm, if 6.4 is released and the biblio-directories are wrong. Andrea
