Description Cleber Santz 2019-12-12 12:44:36 UTC
When create a link to external sheet pointing it to a URL (eg.: https://www.investing.com/equities/taesa-unt-n2-historical-data), every time its get updated by LibreOffice, freezes the entire suite of applications.

It is a problem specially when we have multiples external links in a spreadsheet, you must stop all work in the opened documents until all links gets updated, it can mean several minutes to finish.

Will be very nice if this actualization was done in background and let the user work in LibreOffice while the links get updated.

If the user write in a space used by External Sheet during the actualization, overwrite it or if possible ask for overwrite.

I belive it can be a nice feature in Calc, for me at least ;)

Thank you for reporting the bug.

Could you please clarify one sentence from your bug report: "If the user write in a space used by External Sheet during the actualization, overwrite it or if possible ask for overwrite." What do you mean by "actualization"?

Clarifying this sentence and explaining what "actualization" refers to (you wrote actualization twice in the report) will help us in evaluating this bug report.

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested information is provided.
