Description: cmd+c as well as cmd+v on a hardware keyboard seem to work as expected in the iOS version 4.2 (25), but cmd+v seems not to paste what was copied/cut using cmd+c/cmd+x. However using the menu "file > paste" works (also in combination with cmd+c/cmd+x). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create/open a writer document using iOS 4.2 2. Select some text 3. press cmd+c on the hardware keyboard 4. press cmd+v on the hardware keyboard Actual Results: Copied content is not pasted. Expected Results: The copied content should be pasted into the document. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Tested with iOS 4.2 (25) on iOS 13.2.3 (will update to 13.3 and test too).
This will hopefully be fixed by the fix for bug #129328.
Moving to NEW
Seems to work now after the fix for bug #129328, yes.
*** Bug 129470 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
@Tor Copy text using the hardware keyboard (cmd+c) and then pasting it (also using the hardware keyboard) seems to copy the text twice. Tested with 4.2 (30). Should we put this into a new bug and set this one to closed?
Yes, a new bug please. Let's assume the problem as initially reported was fixed (but then something else caused what you now see).
Currently, in 4.2.11 (74), it seems that Command-V works but not Command-C. I'm lazy, let's use this same bug for that. Reopening.
Works now in the 6.4 branch. I might back-port it to 4.2, too.
@Tor: I retested keyboard shortcut behavior on iOS. Results are here: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141217 Should we close this one here in favor of the new overview bug?
Tested in 6.4.7. (1) the original issue has been fixed. This issue can be closed. Thanks a lot to the Collabora team and especially Tor for taking care of this!
