Description: When inserting a formula during a sentence using Insert > Object > Formula the formula box no longer appears inline but is anchored to the beginning of the line. The formula is now anchored by default as "To Character", before it was anchored to "As Character". Changing the formula to anchored as "As Character" fixes the issue. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create new document or open existing. 2. Type some text 3. Insert > Object > Formula Actual Results: the formula is aligned to the left of the screen Expected Results: the formula should be aligned to the characters, inline of the sentence Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 6.4.0.1 Build ID: 1:6.4.0~rc1-5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
Thank you for reporting the bug. I cannot reproduce this in Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+ (x86) Build ID: ec7374ff84c71edfbb30d6e4dc5b486b6df7107f CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win; TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2019-11-10_21:37:30 Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded and in LibreOffice 3.3.0 OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4
I just tried again on a second computer, Version: 6.3.4.2.0+ Build ID: 1:6.3.4-2 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-GB Calc: threaded works OK <upgraded to latest version> Version: 6.4.0.1 Build ID: 1:6.4.0~rc1-5 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-GB Calc: threaded error is present.
I can confirm the problem with Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: 790b5de8941d8f8d98c73ed1343289d7220211ad CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18362; UI render: default; VCL: win; Locale: de-DE (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded It is very annoying. Default anchoring "to character" might be good for images, but produces a lot of additional work in using Math objects. It should be "as character" as in LO 6.3.
