Description mikek 2020-01-05 22:49:10 UTC
Description:
When I use the clone tool from one bulleted list to another, I expect it will clone the formatting of the first list to the second, but it doesn't.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make a bulleted list
2.Make a second with different formatting
3.Use the clone tool from List 1 to List 2

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:

I can't confirm this with

Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: e26d89371f0e4f41476c9a99be01d98dedb76776
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18362; UI render: default; VCL: win;
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Language: en-GB
Calc: threaded

"By default only the character formatting is copied ; to include paragraph formatting, hold down Ctrl when you click. To copy only the paragraph formatting, hold down Ctrl+Shift when you click." (https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/shared/guide/paintbrush.html?DbPAR=SHARED#bm_id380260)

Does this solve your problem?

Hi. The command or CTRL-click Clone doesn't work for me. Neither selecting the whole line, nor clicking in it and CTRL-/Command Clone has any effect on other lines. I'm running 6.4.0.1.

This works for me

0. Make List 1 red text to easier see behavior
1. Click anywhere in List 1 (e.g., start of the list before L)
2. Click the clone format tool
3. Click and drag over the full List 2 line while holding cmd

Other ways:
Clicking and holding cmd on only the "List 2" word changes the paragraph, but only makes the List 2 word red
Triple-clicking and holding cmd changes paragraph and makes the whole line red

I guess this resolves the issue? -> NEEDINFO
