Created attachment 157019 [details] pdf which cannot be will converted to writable document
Created attachment 157027 [details] all pages of PDF inserted to Writer pages LibreOffice is not a PDF editor, and PDF is not an editable format. The filter based import of PDF (by default to the Draw module) will convert to some semblance of the original layout, but does not render using embedded font subset. The replacement font can be pretty far off. Otherwise, the PDF pages inserted to document canvas are fully rendered. In the attached, each page of the PDF was extracted, and then inserted as an image to a Writer document. It can't be edited, but then again--LibreOffice is not a PDF editor!
The import 'opening' of a PDF into Writer or Draw will receive a font fallback. The embedded subset font may but likely will not be present on system--and if not, the imported opening of the PDF will have poor fidelity to the original PDF. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 101220 ***
