select an ole object (calc ole object) and open the sidebar the area where the rotation circle is, was shown and not hidden. See screenshot with the qt and gtk3 backend

It has been pushed to "master":

Resolves: tdf#130045 dial control frame not hidden along with the control

It will be available in 6.5.0.

The patch should be included in the daily builds available at
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. More

Affected users are encouraged to test the fix and report feedback.
