Description:
I downloaded the latest reliable file (not the newest tester one). I got this message when I tried to open it:

"LibreOffice.app can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information." 
macOS Catalina Version 10.15.2 on early 2015 MacBook Pro Retina 
LibreOffice_6.2.8_MacOS_x86-64

Actual Results:
Cannot open

Expected Results:
Open

David, what happens if you right-click Libreoffice.app in finder and select Open from the context menu?

6 months have gone by and no response from the OP. Maybe we should close this as INSUFFICIENT DATA ?

David: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you can still reproduce this with LO 6.4.5 and can bring a response to https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130068#c2
