Created attachment 157558 [details] File Demonstrating background issue Strange Background image on the document, that background is not visible in word. Document originally was creating in ms word 365.
Thank you for reporting the bug. I can confirm that the bug is present in a recent master build. Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: e8ac78d3afdeb0302eaea34a50f1ca912d5fe897 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 17763; UI render: GL; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL
Confirmed too soon. please attach screenshot of both MSO and LO and explain what is expected here. DOCX has an image set with "washout" color that's not visible for me in MSO 2013, but is visible if changed to "automatic". Maybe LO has a problem with "washout" but this example does not seem good.

Yes, but this may not be LO bug, which properly shows the image, but MSO bug or specific behavior for "washout". My position is that bug should not be confirmed with this example. Better example should show washout in MSO and not in LO.
One more fact, In LO when you switch to from Page Mode to Web Mode that strange image disrepair.

Status was changed automatically, There is an additional information I've provided. And can I have another opinion rather than 'Timur'. From my point of view it's a bug, or missing of specific feature.
One More Information That image is part of the header. if you resize header you will able to select and delete the image.
Created attachment 157697 [details] File compared There's nothing strange here. DOCX has PNG image in header. Maybe too light to be seen in my Word 2013. Anyway, it can be seen directly in the DOCX. Writer shows it as it should look. Bug report wasn't precise and confirmation was wrong (Ian, please add some value, as I sent you the email, instead of just confirming). I added some explanation to clarify what's (not) strange. We may have a bug with "washout" but this example is not good. We need another proper example that would presumably be "washed out" in MSO and full color in LO. Please respond only if you have such as example. Otherwise this report may be closed, this is "NotABug" so far.
Irakli, DO NOT change yourself to New. You are not entitled to do it.

Final Please see files. Test6.docx that demonstrate loosing washout property in LO including screenshots. Note that LO is loosing that property in Header. In Document body it's working fine.
Created attachment 157708 [details] Another test You seem not to understand what I'm trying to say. Maybe because you are responding too soon. attachment 157698 [details] has the same image as attachment 157558 [details], just resized in header. It's not seen in MSO, so this may only be MSO bug, not LO. Just take any other example, and LO shows it properly. Image in header is washed out, in footer not. Doesn't have to be in header, just an example.
Let's close this as NotABug. Do not reopen.
Washout Color Adjust from Word is marked as Watermark Image Mode in Writer. https://help.libreoffice.org/7.0/en-US/text/shared/02/24020000.html Only bug I see is that's available only from toolbar and not from Format menu. I'll report separately, unless someone finds it.

In original document it was in header I try to change position to show it. Install Office 365 And try by yourself. All works as intended when image not in header. "Doesn't have to be in header" it is not a argument. I do not agree with that, and I think that you just protecting your position by closing this ticket continuously. Or Just Say what example do you require to confirm issue.
Script wrongfully reopened it.

Created attachment 157721 [details] Here is a Additional Example Creation 1) In MS Word Activate Header 2) Insert Water Mark Picture 3) Format Picture as Washout , Increase brightness to 100 4) Close header 5) Result Image is hided 6) Open Document in LO see result AND TIMUR -> STOP CLOSING THE CASE !!
Irakli, sounds like a duplicate of bug 125108. Please check this.
Created attachment 157747 [details] Additional Information It could be a same Bug 125108 depends on internal implementation Actual There is a two issue. 1) it seems that LO loosing some image adjustments created in ms word. 2) and both image in my case and in case of 125108 have issue, Image formatting menu is disabled.
(In reply to Irakli Lomidze from comment #26) > 1) it seems that LO loosing some image adjustments created in ms word. If this is a second issue, please open a new bug report. Thanks
(In reply to Irakli Lomidze from comment #26) > Created attachment 157747 [details] > Additional Information > > It could be a same Bug 125108 depends on internal implementation So let's mark it as a duplicate. Please feel free to change ist back to UNCONFIRMED with a short reasoning, if you don't agree. Comment 3 of bug 125108 gives some more infomations about the transparency problem of the watermark image. Perhaps you have time to check it with your document. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 125108 ***
