Description LG 2020-02-09 18:45:37 UTC
Description:
I'm making my first Impress silde show.
Impress crashed when I started the slide show with a transition (NVIDIA OPENCL problem) ; the following executions worked.

After the file recovery, I got my file and all seem to be OK but not in fact.

I put a background bitmap on every slides : after the recovery, the added/import bitmap list is back to its default.

Actual Results:
after the recovery, the added/import bitmap list for the background is back to its default.

Expected Results:
The list must included all the bitmaps imported.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 3 LG 2020-02-11 16:07:38 UTC
It's a little example.

The archive file contains :
- test.odp : one slide with a bitmap background
- bitmap.png : a little picture I made for the test
- pict1.png : a copy screen after I add/import the bitmap file
  >> Default parameters
  >> Preview OK
  >> Bitmap list not updated (new bug)
- pict2.png : a copy screen after I click on Ok
  >> all is OK
  >> you can see the bitmap filename in the right panel slide properties
- pict3.png : a copy screen after I save, close then reopen the project
  >> The slide is OK
  >> The bitmap filename is the right panel slide properties is empty
- pict4.png : a copy screen with the slide setup properties window.
  >> the bitmap list is back to the default
  >> Preview is not OK (new bug)

This bug is reported wrong "recovery problem after Impress crashed " but minor issue exists and can be seen in attachment 157800 [details] or new ODP. Repro 7.0+.

ISSUE: When background image is set, after file reopen it's name is not in Sidebar-Slide-Properties and it's not selected in Slide Setup-Properties-Background.

With LO 5.2, right-click Slide/Page Setup or Slide Properties would show background as Bitmap and it's preview. With LO 5.3, bitmap not selected not shown, same as in 7.0+. I'll mark regression, because that was worse in UI change.
With LO 5.0 Sidebar didn't have slide properties. With LO 5.2 Sidebar name available but not shown. That would be ImplementationError. So different issue, but let's keep together.
