Description: LibreOffice Writer crashes when adding a subscript to textbox inserted via Insert > Textbox. Writer needs to be restarted manually after this crash - the LibreOffice instance started from the crash handler itself crashes. Recovered document from the crash seems to be fine, though without the bug-causing subscript. Does not affect subscript added to the "main" text. Does not seem to affect LibreOffice Draw. Occurs regardless of whether OpenGL is on or off. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert textbox into document via Insert > Text Box 2. Press Ctrl+Shft+B or subscript button. Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: Subscript-Superscript in textbox Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Versão: 6.4.0.3 ID de compilação: 6.4.0-2 Threads da CPU: 8; SO: Linux 5.5; Realizador da interface: padrão; VCL: kf5; Local: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); Idioma de IU: pt-BR Calc: threaded
Carlos, there is indeed a problem with textboxes in LO 6.4.0.3 But it should be fixed in 6.4.1.1 (see bug 130286). So could you lease test with 6.4.1.1 to be sure, that it is not a duplicate of bug 130286? => NEEDINFO
6.4.1.1: Help -> About Version: 6.4.1.1 Build ID: 56f3c78975db08733f771c53643b5d1aa7c57567 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.5; UI render: default; VCL: kf5; Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded Although it doesn't crash anymore, LibreOffice simply ignores the command to add subscript/superscript, be it through the Subscript/Superscript button, through the keyboard shortcuts or through the Right-Click -> Character menu option. In fact, everything in the Font Options and position tabs in the latter dialog box is ignored. Also reproduced in: Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 0322a41224a7264bbe03a068647ab093bcc88f90 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.5; UI render: default; VCL: kf5; TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2019-12-23_08:08:16 Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
Thanks. Let's close as a duplicate. This part was fixed in Bug 130482 (6.4.2 only for now). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 130286 ***
