Description kevinpr 2020-02-26 17:02:30 UTC
Description:
Hi
I have a pptx presentation that has problems of rendering changing from Microsoft Office 2016 to LibreOffice 6.4
First, I use a font called Montserrat, in Libreoffice seems that it doesn't know what font is.. strange
Then, I have a image that instead of been "Square", its a polygon. In Impress show as Square..

I attach pptx file of this page and a image of Libreoffice vs MSOffice

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open pptx
2.See it

Actual Results:
Well rendered

Expected Results:
Bad rendered

Reproducible: Always

I confirm the picture shape issue.

Regarding the font issue: Did you install the font on your LO machine or did you embed the font into a pptx file? There are several bug reports out here on LO bug tracking that say font embedding into pptx/docx/xlsx is broken with LO.

In general it is a good idea to file separate bug reports for separate issues so pepole can keep track of them separately :-)

Well
I can confirm that the font problem is because is embedded font.. If there is a bug reported for this yet, maybe is better to change title/text of this bug for the shape problem :S

thank you.
Can you please change the bug title so it reflects the polygon shaped image issue then?
