Description sdc.blanco 2020-02-29 18:24:46 UTC
1. Get to Area tab for Shape or Textbox (any module) and Hatch option.

2. Set a background color and "Add".

Actual result: Hatch options are saved, but background color is not.

Expected result: Background color is also saved.

Additional information:

1. Background color is applied to a selected shape (if checked).
2. Also tested with 7.0.0.0.alpha

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I don't reproduce this (see attached file).

Could you give a try with LO 7.6.4 or brand new 24.2 version?

Attached screenshot shows dialogue with a red arrow pointing to the relevant option.

STR
1a. Select a background color for a new hatching.
or
1b. Use "Modify" and add a background color to an existing hatching.

2. Make a new shape and apply the saved/modified hatching.

Actual: The background color is not included/saved.

Thank you for the feedback, I could reproduce this.
I had missed the fact you had added a new hatch item.

The shape has the right hatch, area dialog has the right background color but "Background color" isn't checked so the preview doesn't show the background color.
Comment 8 BogdanB 2024-08-24 17:59:30 UTC
After I check "Backgroud color" in Hatch TAB and press ok, everything is fine, but if I reopen that tab, the "Background color" is unchecked, so if I press ok, the color is gone.
