Description: I have been unable to open Libre Office since last windows 10 update. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still program will not open. I installed an older version and still nothing! I love this program and use it all the time so I'm stressing out! Steps to Reproduce: 1.after installing click on desktop icon and select open and does nothing 2.go to programs and click on icon and choose open and does nothing 3.neither version of LO will open after installation. Tried opening in safe mode and nothing happens. Actual Results: after installation none of the programs open Expected Results: program should open and run but does not Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: programs do nothing after installation but should open
Thank you for reporting the bug. Can you please specify what the "older version" of LibreOffice you are attempting to install is? In addition, do you know what is the earliest version of LibreOffice that you can successfully install i.e. what version worked for you previously? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested information is provided.
The last version i was able to install and it work was 6.3 but after windows update that version no longer worked so i thought maybe it was due to needing update so i downloaded version 6.4 and now neither will work after installing. Both appear to install fine but when i open them nothing happens.
UPDATE UPDATE Not sure if this information works for others running windows 10 but microsoft now offers LO in the app store for free so i took the chance and downloaded the app and it works great!! Before doing this i tried again to download and install from your website and still the program would not open but after getting the app I'm back in business!! Thanks
