E-mail address in cells can't be modified and seems considered as one character: added characters go right after the address, removed one character makes the address to be entirely removed.

Thanks for reporting this bug.

However, 6.0.7 is a very old version, and its bug-fix support has ended long ago. Can you test with the recent versions 6.3.5 or 6.4.1 and see if this bug still exists?

The official download page of LibreOffice is at:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/
and provides DEB packages of the two versions mentioned above. You may also contact Ubuntu community to see if they have specific packages for 18.04 LTS.

Setting to NEEDINFO. Please change it back to UNCONFIRMED once you've tested and reported the result.

Hi!
Thank you for your message.
I just tried with LibreOfficeCalc 6.4.12 and the behaviour is still odd.
The difference is, I can't modify what's in the mail address so if I want to make a correction I have to rewrite entirely the address. Now the mail addresses behave EXACTLY like a single character, even in the field where I write the content : I can't touch it except delete it or write some content before or after that will not be included in any way to the address.
Maybe there is a good reason for that, that I don't know but the way I use Calc, it is quite annoying.

You can edit the link using [Ctrl+K] Menu/Insert/Link, or select the hyperlink text and right-click - Edit hyperlink.

Maybe there is a room for improvement, but I think the situation it's good enough .
