Did you search before reporting in both open and closed bugs?
(In reply to Timur from comment #3) > Did you search before reporting in both open and closed bugs? I always look for open bugs that match (though not being a LibreOffice developer may not be using the right terms or understand all connections). I hardly look for closed bugs that match since I am using a current snapshot of LibreOffice development to reproduce bugs before reporting them. Why are you asking?
Created attachment 158508 [details] Visual comparison LO MSO Not a bug. See bug 64490 and Options -> Tools -> Load/Save -> Microsoft, as shading or as highlighting. There's even some slim help as https://help.libreoffice.org/7.0/en-US/text/shared/optionen/01130200.html Only if you can propose some better explanation, please write it and set as New for Documentation.
It's not just open but also closed bugs that should be searched.

Now that I understand what was happening here, I proposed some wording that would have helped me in bug #125268. (Proposing better documentation is not always possible when one is not an expert, so I'm not sure I agree with "only if" - but I gave it a try.)
