when the user like to increase the Print Dialog window, the preview should increase. Now both, the preview AND the Settings sidebar increase. I suggest do let increase only the preview.

No need for input from UX when you submit the patch yourself. +1 to adjust the preview on resizing rather than the properties area. The user can adjust everything with the splitter anyway.
