Selecting the image trough the navigator and changing the transparency in proporties makes the image visible, But being a doc document and can't know if it is already in the file document or an import issue.
Other way to make 2nd image visible is to slightly decrease size of 1st image. Also, change of Anchor from "As Character" of any image helps. Layout issue both Win and Lin, repro OO. Could be a duplicate, many bugs on image anchor.
Also if DOC resaved in MSO as DOCX. Interestingly, if that document is saved in LO as ODT, image seen on reopen.
Also if vertical position changed. More workarounds so it's a minor issue. I'm not sure, but I'll mark EasyHack.

Please be aware of the impact to a _lot_ of end users! The most end-users are not able use this kind of Workaround! For them LibreOffice is just BROKEN. It doesn't display the picture. Please look at it from the enduser perspective. Using an embeded picture is something that is quite common! I would say importance is: MAYJOR. Because it effects so may user.
repro 7.6+ When I open Skelett+Bastelvorlage.doc in MS Word 2010 - the second page is blank - until I click somewhere.
Tested with Office 365 Apple Silicon -> second page image is shown as expected. Tested with LibreOffice 7.5.3 Apple Silicon -> second page image is NOT shown.

Repro on 7.5.8.2 with a different document. (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=191258) Both pictures are seemingly spanning an entire page. But the first page's picture is not shown (completely blank) until moved or changed in some other way. Works correctly in Word 2007 and OnlyOffice 7.5.1
