B&N take the bullets from the respective gallery, ie. the tab "Image" is filled with the first 12 bullets and Customize: Number=Graphics, Graphics: Select lists all items from the gallery.

It's not clear (or shouldn't) that a gallery is delivered and furthermore the long dropdown list is awkward.

Proposal is to ship a few hard-coded items.

my proposal is to use the B&N "gallery" only in the B&N dialog but not in the gallery.

this would be something like "hard-coded" items but you don't need additional coding work, cause you only have to define the B&N "gallery" as private gallery.

Any update on this? the issue has been in UNCONFIRMED status for a while, What should we do with it ?

We should change the way B&N are accessed. Not via gallery but icons.
