Description ralf.fehlau 2020-03-31 18:20:51 UTC
Description:
An ods file with external links consumes all memory during update. Libreoffice uses about 12 GiB of RAM during 3 Minutes of cpu time. Thereafter, the operating system kills libreoffice.

I cannot attach the file, because there are a lot of private data in it. There was another case in the past regarding the same problem. See case #88006

While investigating the origin of the problem, I observed, that there are several links where LO could not fetch any data, e.g. https://kurse.boerse.ard.de/ard/kurse_einzelkurs_uebersicht.htn?i=115061 . When I update this link manually, the first try returns an error, the second try is successful.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open ods file with references to external data (links to web content),
2. click on the button allow update ("Aktualisierung zulassen" in german)
3. wait until all memory is occupied

Actual Results:
libreoffice is killed by the operating system, LO calc is unuseable.

Expected Results:
all web content is updated

Reproducible: Always

Your link doesn't give me add any data from it, just there is no any table by link

And without your file we can't help you

Also you can try use LibreOffice from official site libreoffice.org/download instead your PPA version
