Description Diego 2020-04-03 02:29:40 UTC
Description:
It started when I added long paragraphs in the RTF file. When I saved/closed the file it took long to save/close. now it takes about 10-30 minutes to open. I just leave it open once it is and leave it for the rest of the day, only closing it once I shut down my pc.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open File Explorer
2.Open LibreOffice Writer RTF file

Actual Results:
once I double-click/open the RTF file it takes 10-30 minutes to open. the green bar loads only 3/4 full and then stays there for 10-30 minutes until it finally opens.

Expected Results:
When I normally open the file it takes only mere seconds to open.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
the file size is 11.7 MB

my other Writer RTF files take less time but still takes longer to open than normal.

I tried attaching the RTF file I had the most problems with but when I clicked submit but the file was "invalid".

"The content type RTF file is invalid. Valid types must be of the form foo/bar where foo is one of application, audio, image, message, model, multipart, text, video and bar must not contain any special characters (such as "=", "?", ...)."

that's what comes out when I try to attach the file.

I decided to test whether I experienced any issues related to uploading an RTF file, and I had none.

What was the name of the file (and its extension) that you were attempting to upload?

Hello Diego,
would you mind sending me the file to my email instead? I can upload it for you
