Description gP 2020-04-03 03:01:47 UTC
Description:

I’m wondering if the Document Foundation could develop and add a PDF component to LibreOffice. I mean a PDF viewer with which we can read, annotate, fill forms and manage PDF files.

I know that LibreOffice can create PDF or can open and edit existing PDF. LibreOffice open PDF with Draw, but the document is always in “editor mode”. Which is not practical for just consulting a PDF. And it’s impossible to fill forms. It would be wonderful to have an open-source alternative for Adobe Reader or Acrobat. So I’m wondering if the Document Foundation team could consider working on that for a future release.
(Besides, I don't know if there’s a better space for my comment/suggestion. Please, feel free to redirect me if there’s one.)

Thanks for making LibreOffice alive!
