Description Albert Acer 2020-04-03 07:19:20 UTC
Description:
When I am using LO Writer 6.4.0, 6.4.1 and 6.4.2 in Spanish, I can see that the translation for the “Page Style” option of the Format Menu is missing. Also, this same error is replicated when I activate the new graphical interface with tabs, specifically when I use the “Disposición” Tab. There also appears the option "Page Style" in English and not in Spanish as it should be. Possibly this can be corrected in Weblate.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LO Writer 6.4.0 or 6.4.1 or 6.4.2 in Spanish.
2. Click on the "Format" (Menu)
3. Look for the option "Page Style ..."

Actual Results:
The option “Page Style” appears in English and not in Spanish as it should be.
There is where the Spanish translation is missing.

Expected Results:
The Software (Weblate) should put "Formato de Página" instead of "Page Style".

Reproducible: Always

This error only affects the LO Writer application in Spanish, in its versions 6.4.0, 6.4.1, and 6.4.2. However, I think you could solve it for the next version 6.4.3 in Spanish.
In the graph that I am attaching today April 3, 2020 you can see the scenarios where the error occurs.

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I don't reproduce this.

But perhaps I use the wrong View?

Adolfo: any thoughts here?
Comment 4 Albert Acer 2020-04-03 22:04:26 UTC
My tests were done with LO 6.4.0, 6.4.1 and 6.4.2 in Spanish, on an X64 PC, running with Windows 10 Professional (64 Bits) Operating System, in Spanish.
However, in the tests carried out with LO Writer 6.3.5 in Spanish this error was not reproduced. So I could see that LibreOffice 6.3.5 is the only Spanish version that does not present translation errors, that is, translation errors = zero. So with LO 6.4.X this error is reproduced. I don't know if this could already be corrected in LO 6.4.3 RC1.

Another alternative could be to put "Configuración de Página" instead of "Page Style". This is how it appears in LO Writer 6.3.5 in Spanish, under the "Disposición" tab.

With 6.4.4 RC1 on Windows 10, I can not reproduce this:
Versión: 6.4.4.1 (x64)
Id. de compilación: b50bc319eca5cd5b66fbfe2ebd0d3bd1eed099b5
Subprocs. CPU: 2; SO: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; Repres. IU: GL; VCL: win;
Configuración regional: zh-CN (zh_CN); Idioma de IU: es-ES
Calc: threaded

My menu has "Formato > Estilo de página...".

Albert, would you please test with version 6.4.3 or 6.4.4 RC1 again? Weblate says (https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-6-4/officecfgregistrydataorgopenofficeofficeui/es/?checksum=b73535821bb0a829#history) this was changed about 50 days ago, so should be available in 6.4.3 as well.

Comment 8 Albert Acer 2020-05-06 08:39:57 UTC
I did a new test with LO 6.4.3 in Spanish, running with Windows 10 Professional (64 Bits) Operating System, and I could see that this error has disappeared. This means that it was resolved in LO 6.4.3 in Spanish, and, evaluating what Ming Hua reports, this error would also be resolved in LO 6.4.4 in Spanish. Thanks for that.

Thank you for your feedback Albert.
Let's put this one to FIXED then.
