I'd like to prepare a new symbols gallery where the user can change all the settings of an symbol within LibreOffice.

should be available as extension. Some Emoji's in Symbols, the rest via extension.

You are aware that we already have an emoji selector widget (bug 100100)?

See discussion in BUG 131779. If no emoji gallery is needed, less work for me, but if someone want it, I'm at home at the moment ;-)

Emoji support is available as experimental feature in addition if I activated experimental I don't see emojies on windows daily build, cause the font is not installed (see also BUG 105689).

Taking into consideration, I fully agree Heiko's comment on https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131779#c16

Please include just a minimal set of emoji that just cover expression or smiley

If there will someone report to want it, I will implement it. However there is Emoji font support which is way better than "stupid" gallery items.
