This is normal behaviour of AutoCorrect function that is enabled by default. It is configurable (see "Words With TWo INitial CApitals or sMALL iNITIAL" on tab Exceptions under Tools->AutoCorrect Options, and also Options tab in the same dialog). Closing NOTABUG. Thank you for your involvement!
Can this be a feature request then instead? AutoCorrect changes would be an intermediate step that Ctrl+Z would allow to undo.
