Document exhibiting missing borders with shadows behavior

Steps to reproduce
1. Add borders with a shadow style to certain words
2. Save and close document
3. Reopen document

Expected Behavior:
Words with borders that have a shadow style retain them.

Current Behavior:
Words that had borders with shadows styles no longer have them.

This isn't a rendering error as exporting the reopened document to PDF leads to the PDF also not having the borders. I have attached an ODF file that encounters this problem. The document preview in my file manager Dolphin shows the borders with a shadow style but, when opening in LibreOffice Writer, the borders are no longer there.

I do not reproduce with LO 6.4.4 build at home under Ubuntu / Gnome 18.04 64 bits.

some suggestions for trying to circumscribe the problem:
1/ What is your Linux distribution?
2/ As you use Dolphin, I guess your desktop environment is KDE; so could you try to launch LO in a terminal with the following commands:
  a) use SAL_VCLPLUGIN=kde5 && libreoffice
  b) use SAL_VCLPLUGIN=gtk && libreoffice (if package libreoffice-gtk3 has been installed)
  c) use SAL_VCLPLUGIN=gen && libreoffice
Do you have the same problem in each of these cases?
3/ please attach a screencopy of your document with with borders and shadows.
4/ did you try with other fonts? Kalam font is not available in Ubuntu 18.04

Status has been set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested information has been provided.

Best regards. JBF

Sorry, correct commands are:
  a) use SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kde5 && libreoffice
  b) use SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk && libreoffice (if package libreoffice-gtk3 has been installed)
  c) use SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen && libreoffice

Best regards. JBF

1/ I am suing the latest snapshot of OpenSUSE Tumbleweed

2/ Unfortunately, none of the three methods changed the outcome

3/ I attached a screenshot of Dolphin showing the borders and the PDF file of the ODF document that was exported before I closed it

4/ I made a copy of the document, changed the font to Liberation Sans, added back the borders with shadows, saved, closed the document. and reopened it and it worked! Interestingly, changing the font back to Kalam and saving, closing, and reopening the document did not result in losing the borders, so I am at a loss for what caused it not to work in the first place..

Thank you very much for having tested again. I have no idea what could have happened the first time. So I propose to close this bug report as WorksForMe. Feel free to reopen if the offending behavior reappears.

Best regards. JBF

Sounds good, I'll reopen it again if I encounter this behavior in documents that were made with newer versions of LibreOffice.
Thank you
