Thank you, Telesto, for reporting the bug. I can confirm that the bug is present in a recent master build and the recent stable build in Windows. Using: Version: 6.4.2.2 (x64) Build ID: 4e471d8c02c9c90f512f7f9ead8875b57fcb1ec3 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 17763; UI render: GL; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL and Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: b0b9d736fb9ed73e849f80800916466868dbce28 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 17763; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL I have, therefore, set the status to "NEW."
Other way to reproduce: - put cursor below table - Ctrl+A to select all and Ctrl+C to copy - open new Writer and paste Select All wasn't possible with LO 4.0. Repro LO 4.2. So if this is a bug, ImplementationError.
Table -> Properties -> Text Flow Tab -> Break is checked.. causing the behavior This does happen if a page break is set on the first page. See bug 132583 So, two questions 1. Does Word have the same flow behavior? Can't find the setting/ or wrong import 2. Does cut/paste on the first page mean, inserting a page before.. or is there exception for break before setting if the table is pasted on the first page
So, sections are not important, it's just the table on top. That would make this NotABug. Word seems not to have page break before in table so it behaves differently. I wouldn't expect different behavior on 1st page and that would be WontFix.
