4.3.3 is very old Please give a try at last stable LO version 6.4.3
This is most fresh version in raspbian repository.
Raspbian derives from Debian. I use Debian testing, what Raspbian version do you use?
"jessie" I think. cat debian_version 8.0 Linux xyz 4.9.35-v7+ #1014 SMP Fri Jun 30 14:47:43 BST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux
Stable Debian is more for servers and Jessie is not even the last stable Debian. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debian_version_history So if you can't install a more recent LO version, I don't know what can be done.

I've got 9.11 OS version (stretch) and Libreoffice 5.2.7.2. The problem can be reproduced yet.

Why?
(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #11) > Why? Because I'm raspbian user.(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #11) > Why? 1. There is no hyperlink on offered version. 2. Offered version may require some missing dependecies. However, I will try to install if someone will port offered version to raspbian.
I know very few about signature and GnuPG. I had to create a pair of keys so I used this tuto: https://help.github.com/en/github/authenticating-to-github/generating-a-new-gpg-key When trying "gpg --list-secret-keys --keyid-format LONG" I got a non empty result. Then I followed these steps on LO Debian testing package 6.4.3.2: - launch Writer - File/Digital Signatures/Digital Signatures... => a dialog window opens and main pane is empty - Click on "Sign Document..." button => existing Certificate appears or: - Click on "Start Certificate Manager..." button => GnuPGKeys dialog appears Could you first confirm that you've got non empty result when trying: gpg --list-secret-keys --keyid-format LONG ? If ok, do you also confirm you got nothing for both buttons?
Rene: I put you in cc since you might be interested in this one (Raspbian being a derivated from Debian). If Dima has indeed a gpg key but sees nothing for both buttons, I'd put NOTOURBUG since he uses old LO 5.2.7

Dialog window is empty. Where is "Start Certificate Manager" button?
Created attachment 160134 [details] Screenshot for Julien Nabet. certificate window is empty.

Xisco: any thoughts here? Personally, I'd put NOTOURBUG. Indeed if Raspbian only proposes LO 5.2.7, what can we do?
(In reply to Julien Nabet from comment #20) > Xisco: any thoughts here? Personally, I'd put NOTOURBUG. Indeed if Raspbian > only proposes LO 5.2.7, what can we do? Do not forget to update documentation for reported version - feature does not work in raspbian.

LO current doc is for current LO version not EOL LO versions. Perhaps you should submit a bug on Raspbian bugtracker if exists.
yeah, and debian stretch (which the used raspbian seems to be based on, thus having 5.2.7 as official version) is soon (this year) to be EOL, too. There's no point in documenting that 5.2.7 hasn't that feature when it's clear from release notes etc. that 6.0 got that feature only: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.0#OpenPGP_document_signing_and_encryption (and Debian has a 6.1.5 backport for stretch - though afaicr armhf is is armv6 in raspbian[1] and armhf in debian wants armv7: https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=libreoffice-core). For rpi3, you can even just use pure Debian (where you get 6.1.5 as officially in stable and 6.4.3 as backport.) I happily use a rpi3 with stock Debian buster (thus 6.1.5 if I had GUI there - it's my "home server") [1] At least the rpi1 (not sure about 2) has only a armv6 processor, that's raspbians existence point. See also https://wiki.debian.org/RaspberryPi
Problem cannot be reproduced on arch linux arm on the same hardware. I have libreoffice version 6.4.3.2.
can people actually read? Of course it works in 6.x SINCE THIS FEATURE IS ADDED SINCE 6.X and of course doesn't in 5.2.7 or even 4.3.3 SINCE THAT FEATURE IS NOT PRESENT IN SAID VERSION AT ALL. Closing this as RESOLVED - INVALID.
(and as I said, Debian has 6.1.5 in stable. 6.3.4 also available. Which has that feature - also for arm*. Ask Raspbian when they wanted to update to a sane release, it is available.)
sorry, "6.4.3 also available"
