Thank you for reporting the bug.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Reproduced in 7.2.0 & 7.1.5.

Version: 7.2.0.4 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 9a9c6381e3f7a62afc1329bd359cc48accb6435b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: ja-JP (ja_JP); UI: ja-JP
Calc: CL

Version: 7.1.5.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 85f04e9f809797b8199d13c421bd8a2b025d52b5
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: ja-JP (ja_JP); UI: ja-JP
Calc: CL

But it seems to occur not only with Western Font, but also with Japanese Font like "Noto serif CJK JP" in my environment.
There seems to be a problem of degree, and it seems to be better in 7.2.

Could it be a problem on the IME side?

There have been many CJK improvements after the last test, so it would be good to hear, if this is still an issue.
