Thank you for reporting the bug. The document shows empty flow chart boxes when opened in LO Writer even before converting it into pdf. Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+ (x86) Build ID: ec7374ff84c71edfbb30d6e4dc5b486b6df7107f CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win; TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2019-11-10_21:37:30 Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
I can reproduce this, but only with LibreOffice version 6.3.4.1 . With versions 6.1 and 7.0 everything looks really good. As an example I attached "test.pdf". The screen copy in the attachment shows you what I get when I open your document in version 6.3.4.1. This is also what I see in the PDF that you attached. I suspect this is also what Durgapriyanka mentioned. If you start LibreOffice from the Start menu, open the document, and in LibreOffice you select File -> Print Preview then does the preview look good? If it doesn't look good in LibreOffice itself, or in the LibreOffice print preview, then I don't expect the PDF to look good. PS: I'm not a developer. I submitted a few bugs/reports myself and I'm hoping to help by trying to confirm other bugs ~~~ Here are the steps that I took: I first tried this on Linux/Debian10 with LibreOffice 6.1 and LibreOffice 7.0 by starting LibreOffice from the Linux/Debian start menu. In LibreOffice I tried this with the next menu options: File -> Print -> Print to File ... but also with the command: File -> Export As -> Export As PDF ... Then I copied your document to my /tmp directoru, I opened a terminal window and gave the command: $ soffice --headless --nolockcheck --nodefault --nofirststartwizard --nologo --norestore --convert-to pdf --outdir /tmp /tmp/test.docx ~~~ Here are the versions that I tried: When I give the command: $ soffice LibreOffice is started and when I choose Help -> About LibreOffice I get the next version: Version: 6.1.5.2 Build ID: 1:6.1.5-3+deb10u5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded When I start LibreOffice from the Linux/Debian start menu I get the next versions: Version: 6.1.5.2 Build ID: 1:6.1.5-3+deb10u5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded Version: 6.3.4.1 Build ID: a21169d87339dfa44546f33d6d159e89881e9d92 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 4d03bd252274308f64332e7c0523068c38ac684a CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2020-04-26_05:59:56 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded

This is not a PDF export problem but a DOCX import problem. The flowchart doesn't have text in Writer Reproduced in Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 86bc13248c1d9f63b10aac304bdf0361d1dcc47f CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

Created attachment 166819 [details] Docx with multiple SmartArt charts breaking, and one that is working Also reporting this with a file that I came across. Text from the boxes in the SmartArt chart did not render as well as the outline on the boxes themselves. Seems inconsistent as some charts have only the text disappearing, and some charts have the entire boxes disappearing (even if they have color), and some work perfectly fine.

Hello, Is there any updates on the priority or status of this ticket? Was just wondering if there was any timeframe that I could expect for a bugfix related to these cases.
(In reply to jake.weilhammer from comment #13) > Hello, > > Is there any updates on the priority or status of this ticket? Was just > wondering if there was any timeframe that I could expect for a bugfix > related to these cases. Bugs are fixed if a developer is paid for fixing it or if a developer enjoys fixing it in his spare time. In case a bug has a lot of duplicates or has a lot of people in CC, then such bug is proposed to be included in a tender from TDF, but that is not the case here. In case of the flowchart, the text boxes are not empty but have white font color on white background. The "automatic" setting does not work. You can workaround the problem, if in Word use a dedicated color other than pure white or black for the font. Other bug reports with font color problems in SmartArt are bug 54095 and bug 150065.
The "missing" text is covered by bug 54095. In fact it is white text on white background. So this issue should focus on the missing arrows and borders in attachment 166819 [details].
The problem was reproducible with LO 7.4: Version: 7.4.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f85e47c08ddd19c015c0114a68350214f7066f5a CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fa-IR (fa_IR); UI: en-US Calc: threaded But now it is no longer reproducible with the latest LO 7.6 dev master: Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2478d4b1a4cec495f1bf68f1e62c01031cdeec86 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: fa-IR (fa_IR); UI: en-US Calc: threaded So, I am closing this issue as WORKSFORME. This is probably a duplicate of tdf#86716.
