Description flaviusglamfenix 2020-05-02 14:19:39 UTC
Description:
I have problem with "Special characters" dialog (in Writer). Symbols from different fonts takes too much space.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create bulleted list.
2. Try to change bullets by "Bullets and numbering" dialog.
3. Go to customize tab and click "Select" button (Character: Select).
4. Observe special characters dialog.

Actual Results:
All characters are enormously big. Because of that dialog takes more space and "OK" button is not visible (out of the screen).

Expected Results:
Dialog is visible, characters visible and have normal size (12-16 pt), "Ok" and "Cancel" buttons are visible.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Take a look at the dialog appearance.
Comment 2 Bart 2020-05-02 16:34:23 UTC
I followed the steps that you described and everything looks normal.

I added a screen copy:
   "Libreoffice64-SpecialCharacters.png"

I did this on Linux/Debian10 with LibreOffice Writer 6.0 , 6.4 and 7.0

PS: I'm not a developer. I'm a user myself and I submitted a few bug reports. I'm trying to confirm the bugs that other people reported here.

Try to reset your user profile: Help - Restart in Safe Mode - Factory Reset.
