OS/Environment: Linux/KDE plasma (Kubuntu) Copying lines of text from PDF (Foxit for Linux) to LO Writer stops working after copying text lines from LO Writer to LO Writer. This happened after upgrading to version 6.3.5.2, and was not fixed after installing version 6.3.6.2. Reverting to 6.2.8.2 fixes the problem. To reproduce: 1) copy line of text from pdf reader to LO Writer: works 2) can keep copying text from pdf reader to LO Writer: works 3) copy line of text from LO Writer to LO Writer: works 4) copy line of text from pdf reader to LO Writer:stops working After closing and opening again LO Writer, copying works again until triggering the bug by copying from LO Writer to LO Writer.

You also don't say if it's reproducible, if related to how many times you copy and which content.

Please give a try to 6.4.3 Indeed 6.3 branch is soon EOL, there won't be any official 6.3.7 (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/6.3). + apply this https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps If you still reproduce this, it could be interesting to have a backtrace (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU.2FLinux:_How_to_get_a_backtrace)
PDF reader version: Foxit reader 2.4.4.0911 (AMD64) Solved: Problem resolved when upgrading to LibreOffice 6.4.3.2 as you suggested, copy-paste is no longer stuck, can copy from PDF reader after copying from Writer. Will try first to reproduce in an updated version next time I report a bug (although I wanted to stay in the enterprise release). Many thanks!
