Is this a SVG setting?.. There are few shapes in the gallery (arrows/circles) with the same issue
Thank you for reporting the bug. I can confirm the bug present in Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+ (x86) Build ID: ec7374ff84c71edfbb30d6e4dc5b486b6df7107f CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win; TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2019-11-10_21:37:30 Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded When I try to open this file, LO crashes in LibreOffice 3.3.0 OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4
The reason is simple the gallery item is no svg all/most new gallery items contain of LibreOffice shapes (arrows/circles, ...). So for me this is not a bug.
I can't reproduce it. Maybe an alpha0 is not the best basis for reporting such bugs as many changes are made in this phase of the project. @Telesto: It would be nice if you test such bugs periodically. The immense number of reports make it hard for QA to go through all ... Closing as Worksforme. Created attachment 165852 [details] Screencast Still reproducible.. I associate 'contour' with outline. Not filling the center of the shape
(In reply to Telesto from comment #6) > Created attachment 165852 [details] > Screencast > > Still reproducible.. I associate 'contour' with outline. Not filling the > center of the shape The main goal is that you should/can add gallery items into your document and with select all you can change area fill and line style and everything would be fine. So fix wrap, would make issues with styling and I prefer styling.
This is bit of an I don't really know topic. I associate counter 'with' outer of shape.. not the inner. This won't happen with (JPG/PNG), so scope isn't immense.. This doesn't happen with BPMN shapes or Diagrams So it's more the surprise element.. I'm not exceptional happy about it, but not gonna start a battling the outcome. I don't see this as a "major" problem; I would put it in the trivial corner.
(In reply to Telesto from comment #6) > Still reproducible.. I associate 'contour' with outline. Not filling the > center of the shape Ah, I misinterpreted the short description in comment 0. The current behavior is intended and a change would cause countless bug reports to bring back the old status. I'm with Andreas. The behavior should not be changed as it's logical that all white space or transparent space should be filled with text with 'contour'. That's the sense of it. Where should be drawn the line? For example, between the arrows in the test file there is space. Is this space part of the 'outer' border of the image? How big should this space be to be not part of the border for the contour? A change seems not intuitive and a hell for devs. Therefore I close this issue as Notabug.
