No, not at all. The Sidebar -> Shapes deck shows only icons for the shape outline as drawn from the Icon theme set--they are not meant to be WYSIWYG preview of the resulting object. The Shape style, or Line/Area properties, as set will control what color handling the outline shape receives when instantiated on canvas. IMHO => NAB and invalid.

I'm a benjamin.. "meant to be WYSIWYG", because... Word drawings do something similar (not a benchmark I know).. but not meant to be.. but by the user expected to be? More ideal.. the shapes are rendered in the settings people set ;-) but that's probably not realistic... lot of effort.. I guess Anyhow.. and have the shapes have to be blue by default.. I mostly want something else..

Still thinking its slightly confusing.. but most problem could be fixed with some suggestions made in bug 132880 And I have noticed it's theming.. I expected it to be a 'general' look not theme based.. So NAB after all
