Description Vadim 2020-05-10 16:48:52 UTC
Description:
I create the 2x2 table, merge cells in the right column. Then I set the outer frame in the lower left cell. Save as doc file, close it and open again. The right border of this cell is not displayed. But there are all 4 borders when open with MS Office Word.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Menu "Table-Insert Table..." (Sorry these names are not exact - I use the Russian version)- insert table 2x2
2.Select the right column, merge cells
3.Select the bottom left cell, the menu "Table-Properties..." - Frames "- Set only the outer frame
4.Save file as with doc format, close it and open again

Actual Results:
The right border of the lower left cell is not displayed

Expected Results:
Expected all 4 borders displayed in this cell

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I try it in LibreOffice 5 and 6 version Writer (Версия: 6.4.1.2
ID сборки: 4d224e95b98b138af42a64d84056446d09082932), in Windows and Linux OS. But there is all 4 borders displayed in MS Office Word. There are all 4 borders displayed if saved to pdf format too.

confirm in

Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha1+ (x64)
Build ID: 2f4172fc48aab38c64851ba3a384bd6c7c180634
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win;
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

but it's clear steps:

1. Create a 2x2 table
2. Table properties -> Borders -> Set no borders -> OK
3. Select the right column, merge cells
4. Select the bottom left cell, the menu "Table-Properties..." - Frames "- Set only the outer frame
5. Save file as with doc format, close it and open again

because a table has all borders by default and I didn't see the problem before disable it

DOCX doesn't have the problem, only DOC
